Sandra Danner moved to Center City from Delaware County, PA 11 years ago when she accepted a Safety Manager position with the City of Philadelphia. She transferred her membership from Thomas M. Thomas Memorial Presbyterian Church to Arch Street in 2022. She retired from the City in October 2023. She was ordained an elder at Thomas M. Thomas and as a Presbyterian Deacon when she lived in Pittsburgh, PA (Grace Memorial Presbyterian Church). She has been an active member of Presbyterian Churches for most of her adult life (she was a Baptist for 7 years in California). In her early years, she worked with many youth groups and afterschool programs at church. She also participated in Presbyterian Woman groups at church, attended monthly Presbytery meetings, was a part of a grant writing team, Nominating Committees, and Pastoral Search Committees.
