Kristen Lynch grew up in northern Jersey, but then did a circle around the country living in Boston, San Francisco and Dallas (yes, her kids are Cowboy fans) before returning to the area 15 years ago to take a faculty position at the University of Penn. Until 2020, she lived exclusively in Bucks County where she raised her kids (now 21 and 26) and was a member and elder of Newtown Presbyterian Church. Once her youngest left for college, she moved to Philly to avoid the long commute and has been shifting more and more of her life from the suburbs to the city ever since. She found ASPC in the summer of 2020, at the height of Zoom church, looking for a church home that better represented my understanding of God's calling on us as Christians. I have been humbled by the wisdom I have found among the ASPC family and am deeply honored by the opportunity to serve and give back to this community a portion of what I have received.
