Lacy Hunt, Deacon

Lacy Hunt lives just 4 blocks from the church in the Logan Square neighborhood with his wife, Carol, who occasionally attends ASPC even though she is a parishioner at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul. He is a biostatistician (a person who designs and analyzes medical studies) and he enjoys playing guitar, mandolin, bass, and washboard. Attending ASPC since 2000, the church’s rebirth has been a great joy to him. He survived the hemorrhage of a blood vessel in his brain that was malformed at birth, and he overcame the resulting paralysis. Lacy is very thankful that the Lord has carried him through that ordeal and wants to serve others by praying for and with them. In the context of his experience becoming a deacon would be a good way for him to serve God, other people and a church that means so much to him.
