Jim Ballengee has been a member of Arch Street since 2011 and was in the first class of elders as the church grew again. He has served two terms on session, the Mission and Outreach Committee and numerous other roles at the church. In addition, he has participated in leadership as moderator of the Presbytery of Philadelphia this year and previously as moderator of the Commission on Ministry for the three previous years. Outside of the church, Jim has been involved with one of the church’s mission partners, St. James School, since their founding and is a board member of The Christopher Ludwick Foundation. He is a retired educator living in Chestnut Hill with 3 adult daughters and 2 grandchildren.
