Dr. J. Donald Dumpson, Minister of Music and the Arts

Donald has devoted his life to arts ministry, education and performance. He has over 40 years of experience as a conductor/keyboardist, music minister, and events producer. He is president and CEO of Diverse Arts Solutions, a division of J. Donald Dumpson Productions, LLC, as well as, the founding director of the Westminster Choir College Jubilee Singers and the Philadelphia Heritage Chorale. Donald obtained a Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D. in Music Education, all from Temple University. 

He states, "I am drawn to Arch Street because of the deep commitment to being a welcoming church that cares. I am able to bring all of me to Arch Street. Because of my time at Arch Street, I have been able to deepen my understanding of living life through sharing God's love in diverse ways." Donald's goal is to help build bridges for creative cultural exchanges through arts ministry and music education.
